XBox 360 problems
It amazes me how unresponsive Microsoft is regarding the poor reliability of the XBox 360 hardware. I am waiting for my 4th console from the Microsoft Repair center. The last one I had lasted 3 days before it died of the 3 red flashing light hardware failure. I have talked to Microsoft Customer Support associates, most of them offshore, and none of them has really helped. They apologize for my inconvenience, but don't provide a usable solution. I had suggested that they ship me a replacement console right away instead of waiting to receive the defective console back. They refused. I then suggested that once they confirmed that my console was really defective, that they ship a replacement one instead of me waiting for them to fix the one I sent to them. They have refused. I know they will ship you a different console than the one you send back, they did it the last time (the one that lasted 3 days). Of course, you have no idea what the unit you get back has been exposed to since it's not the one you originally bought. And so we wait. They have called twice to say they are working on it. Very helpful.
